The Way It Is: Nick Saban not feeling ‘ball control,’ Tide updates from spring practice

Alabama head coach Nick Saban holding 2016 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Trophy after defeating Washington, 24-7: Cedric Mason - Touchdown Alabama Magazine

After the first week of spring practice, we all know what’s not on Alabama football head coach Nick Saban’s mind… Hint: It rhymes with the Nick Jr children show, Paw Patrol.

During Tuesday’s practice, the Crimson Tide witnessed more progress from Shaun Dion Hamilton (knee), Bo Scarbrough (leg) and B.J. Emmons (foot) through position workouts, despite wearing non-contact uniforms.

With this trio recovering and more experimenting being done for other players, this spring has the potential to set Alabama up for a strong fall season. Yours truly of TDAL Magazine was live Wednesday on The Way It Is, discussing why Saban attacked the ball control question the way he did and updates from week two of spring.
