Alabama football will have its first taste of live action on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Though it’s not open to the public, the Crimson Tide’s game-like scrimmage should open Nick Saban’s eyes to those who possess the fundamentals and intangibles. Despite it being the first year in which the team isn’t consumed with who’s lining up at quarterback, Saban still intends on having Jalen Hurts play fast and smart.

Yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine was live Wednesday on The Way It Is, listing all aspects that Saban will on offense and defense as he looks to prepare this team for the fall.
