Despite the media’s love for click bait going into the off-season, Alabama head coach Nick Saban has confirmed once again that sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurts is his guy.
After having a strong freshman year, the native Texan intends on leading the Crimson Tide to national championship in the upcoming fall. He displayed improved passing mechanics last week – completing 16 of 25 attempts for 301 yards with two touchdowns to one interception on A-Day.
Regardless of how impressive five-star freshman Tua Tagovailoa looked, (and he was solid) Saban is pleased with the progress that his returning starter has made up to this point.
Yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine was live Wednesday on The Way It Is, breaking down the improvement of Hurts’ deep ball and stating the importance of him running the show on offense.
