TUSCALOOSA, Ala.– ESPN’s family of networks will be in full effect for the University of Alabama to start the Crimson Tide’s home season in the upcoming fall, as times have been announced for the first two games – according to a press release from UA’s athletic department of communications on Wednesday.
The Tide will host Fresno State inside Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 2:30 p.m. (CT) on either ESPN or ESPN2. After facing the Bulldogs, Alabama is scheduled to play Colorado State the following week (Sept. 16) at 6:00 p.m. Like Fresno State, the Tide’s meeting with the Rams will be on either ESPN or ESPN2.
While it will be the first time Alabama matches up with Fresno State, the 2013 season was the last time the Tide battled Colorado State at home. Saban and company earned a 31-6 victory over the Rams, en route to finishing the season with 11 wins – despite falling to Auburn and Oklahoma.
