Deontae Lucas, a recruit in the 2019 recruiting class, announced Sunday via Twitter that he has received an offer from Alabama. Lucas is an offensive tackle out of Booker T. Washington in Miami, Fla.

The 6’4” 333-pounder is a men among boys on the field with his humongous size.

His recruiting ranking has not been released by ESPN and 247 Sports.

The young offensive guard has a ton of potential to play on any offensive line in the nation. He continuously stands up defenders at the line of scrimmage, before throwing them away like a rag doll. Determination is another part of this guy’s game that pops out on film. The offensive tackle never gives up on protecting his quarter back. When someone makes a quick move around him to get to his quarterback; he quickly hustle to his teammates aid to lay amazing blocks on the defender.

His run blocking ability is not too shabby either. He is seen multiple times pushing defenders almost all the way down the field. Deontae is asking able to create holes for his running back to break for big run plays.

SEC teams Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, and Kentucky have already offered Lucas. He is currently attending camp at Alabama along with some high profile recruits. Which probably explained why he received an offer on yesterday. Him being at the Capstone could help Alabama gain an advantage in recruiting him.
