The Crimson Tide is loaded with talent at inside linebacker. As a result, former Alabama LB Shawn Jennings decided to transfer. It took some time, but he has finally decided on where he will continue his football career.

Jennings announced on Twitter that he would be attending South Alabama. It’s an excellent landing spot for the former 3-star prospect.
Jennings’ older brother, Anfernee, is a an edge rusher for the Crimson Tide. He is expected to compete for a starting spot once fall camp gets started, and it’s now looking like the younger Jennings will eventually get that same chance at his new school.
While he will have to sit out a year, Jennings will look to compete for a starting spot in 2018. The Jaguars lost four-year starter Roman Buchanan — a safety who eventually made the move to linebacker — so adding a talent like Jennings is a major boost for the Jaguars defense.
