Although we have yet to reach the fall session, fans of college football normally see head coach Nick Saban and Alabama dominate recruiting each season. Despite carrying seven consecutive No. 1 signing class, the group for 2018 is developing rather slowly. The process has been a concern for Crimson Tide fans, especially with its program having just six commitments.
With the NCAA instituting two signing periods, this allows for schools to grab the players that want to commit early while giving others a chance to make a decision late. He’s not a huge fan of the ruling; nevertheless, Saban has a strategic plan in place to make sure Alabama stays afloat.
Yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine joined Mark Rogers on Wednesday’s edition of Tide Breakdown, to discuss why fans should not panic about the size of the 2018 class right now.
The recruiting segment begins at the 1:00 minute mark.
