It was an ugly, defensive struggle throughout, but Jim McElwain’s Gators found a way to win over their SEC East foes. With the time ticking off of the clock and the ball on their own 37-yard-line, redshirt-freshman quarterback Felipe Franks stepped up from the pocket and delivered a 63 yard laser to the endzone.

Tennessee was on the other side of this coin last season when Joshua Dobbs and his Volunteers topped the Georgia Bulldogs at the last possible second. It was a bad game for both teams’ offenses, but the Gators are 1-0 in the SEC, regardless.
