Alabama LB Christian Miller uses wrestling video to signal return for this season

Alicia Devine - Touchdown Alabama Magazine

People do not expect good news to occur when they are either at the lowest points in life or a football season, but fans of Alabama football were overjoyed to see a particular video surface on Twitter earlier today in regards to one of the team’s star players.

While he has yet to be medically cleared from a torn biceps injury he sustained versus Florida State, redshirt junior linebacker Christian Miller shared a video to social media that all but told his soon expected return to the field. The video in question begins with him recording a tackle against the Seminoles, and then transitions to news of what would be a season-ending injury.

However, a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) segment that featured Randy Orton and the Undertaker emerging from an exploding casket was the most intense part of the video.

The picture of Orton appearing like he just saw a ghost could literally be the description of Auburn and the rest of college football, upon the return of Miller.

Multiple reports have surfaced, citing sources, in stating the South Carolina native is set to see action in next week’s Iron Bowl.

Should this happen, Alabama gets a much-needed boost on defense.

Miller was projected to have a huge impact prior to the medical mishap; however, getting him back for a matchup against the surging Tigers provides the Tide depth and a critical pass rusher to attack quarterback Jarrett Stidham.
