Brown is an ESPN 300 recruit. He garners a 4-Star rating from most recruiting outlets and is the No. 15 defensive tackle in the 2018 recruiting class, according to ESPN.
The 6’4″ 270-pounder took an official visit to The Capstone on Oct. 20 to watch The Crimson Tide to take on Tennesse. The visit was considered a success since Brown decided to commit not even a full week later. Unfortunately, Brown decided to commit to Texas A&M.
Alabama receive some good news on Thursday when he decommitted from Texas A&M. He had been a huge target for the Tide.
The Texas native is a man inside of the trenches. He uses his enormous size to shed blocks and disrupt offenses. The level of toughness that Brown possessed should fit perfectly with Alabama’s aggressive defensive front.
The way that Alabama have used some of its freshmen defensive lineman this season should definitely look good to Brown. He has the chance to play early if he works hard and proves that he is ready to play in the trenches of the SEC.
