Brock Purdy Talks Alabama Offer

The Crimson Tide might have found their quarterback for the 2018 recruiting class in Brock Purdy. He received an offer from Alabama on Tuesday.

Purdy talk to yours truly about his most recent offer.

“I was ecstatic to get an offer from the best of the best,” Purdy said. “I am excited to take a visit and see what all they have to offer.”

Purdy has a total of 11 offers. His recruiting has really heated up since the early signing period concluded. He currently has offers from UCLA, UCF, Iowa State and Boise State.

Several factors will go into what program he chooses.

“I would love to play in a college town so I can enjoy my time in college,” Purdy said.

A good relationship with the coaching staff and the team’s current quarterback situation will also play a role in his decision.

Purdy is an impressive passer that is able to read defenses really well. Many coaches seem to be excited about his ability to make plays with his feet.

The 6’1″-197 pounder is a determined athlete that patterns his game after Drew Brees and Russell Wilson, because of their similar heights.

Alabama does not have a quarterback commit in the 2018 recruiting class, but if they could possibly land Purdy they will snatch one of the best-kept secrets in this loaded QB class.
