Alabama is no longer in the running for Arizona product, Brock Purdy.
The Tide offered Purdy on last month and it looked like they would have a good shot at landing him. Purdy had Alabama in his top three as of Saturday, but he has now narrowed his choices down to Iowa State and Texas A&M. The Aggies offered him on Friday. Purdy broke down his decision with yours truly.
“Texas A&M and Iowa State both are great college towns,” Purdy said. “I feel like I would fit better in their systems than any of the other colleges.”
Alabama is still without a QB commit in the 2018 recruiting class and their chances at landing one are looking slim. National Signing Day is Wednesday and it will be interesting to see what happens with the Tide at the quarterback position. Touchdown Alabama Magazine will keep you updated.
