A highly touted verbal pledge in the class of 2019 has decided to quit rolling with the Tide.
Four-star safety Brendan Gant announced his decommitment from Alabama earlier on Twitter. This news comes on the heels of two weekend pledges that boosted Nick Saban and Company to No. 1 in the 2019 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings (according to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports).
