The state of Alabama’s talent pool is second to none this recruiting cycle and the Crimson Tide knew they had to make their presence in the yellow hammer state felt this recruiting cycle. Coming off a recruiting year where they only landed two Alabama-natives, Alabama has tripled that number and already have verbal commitments from six recruuts that reside in the state of Alabama. All of those players are ranked as 4-Stars or higher.
Nick Saban has expressed in the past that he would love to get as many players from the state of Alabama as possible. The Tide are very well on the way to landing a very impressive in-State class.
Make no mistake about it, the Tide are definetely still on the hunt for some of the top talent in the state. Most noticably is 5-Star center, Clay Webb. Webb could help the Tide’s 2019 recruiting class stake their claim as the best offensive line classes ever pulled in under Saban considering recruiting rankings.
Alabama also has their eyes on 4-Star linebacker, Lavonta Bentley, the No.1 kicker in the nation, Will Reichard and 4-Star defensive back, Trikweze Bridges. These additions will have Alabama well on the way to having a majority in-State class. Look out Alabama fans, especially those that love to see the Tide pull in guys from inside if the state.
