Their views on barbershop shows may differ, but there is one thing that Alabama head football coach Nick Saban and LeBron James both share in common: winning championships.
Since 2012, the Crimson Tide’s success on the field goes into direct correlation with James’ success on the court for the National Basketball Association. In the Tide’s national title game victories for 2012, 2013 and 2016, James has followed suit with championships in the NBA Finals whether it has been with the Miami Heat (2012-13) or Cleveland Cavaliers (2016).

Recently, Alabama captured a national championship over Georgia in January.
After defeating Boston in a seven-game series, James has the Cavaliers back in the NBA Finals for a fourth straight season. When Saban has won, the path for James has been clear. While he awaits the winner of the Golden State-Houston series, James anticipates winning his third championship and adding another most valuable player award to his trophy case.
He is heading to his eighth NBA Finals.
