College football has returned and fans couldn’t be any happier.
With all marquee matchups scheduled for Saturday, the headliner is Alabama’s meeting versus Louisville at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. The game will be aired on ABC, the ESPN app and the ESPN family of networks at 7 pm CT, as the Crimson Tide looks to improve to 9-0 against elite non-conference opponents in season openers.
After going through an offseason where it had 17 players sign contracts for the National Football League, it appears as though Nick Saban and company have reloaded for another great run.
Cardinals’ head coach Bobby Petrino and his team have been highly confident all week about their chances to defeat the defending national champions; however, performing this endeavor without Lamar Jackson (2016 Heisman winner) will be difficult. Jawon Pass takes over the starting duties at quarterback for the first time and it will be interesting to see how he adjusts to an attacking style defense under first-year coordinator, Tosh Lupoi.
