I wrote earlier in the week that it would take Calvin Ridley a few weeks to find his groove in the Atlanta Falcons offense after a no catch performance in his rookie debut. I was wrong, on Sunday Ridley was able to separate from the Panthers secondary and showcase how explosive of a weapon he can be for this Falcons offense. In the second quarter, Matt Ryan connected with Ridley on an 11-yard touchdown. The Falcons won, 31-24 and Ridley caught 4 receptions for 64 yards to go with the touchdown.
