4-Star wide receiver, Jameson Williams, will announce his college commitment on Friday.
The Tide has been in Williams’ top school list for awhile now. They were included in his top 5 in June and were able to get him on campus for an official visit in that same month. He also visited Oregon, Ohio State, and Nebraska last Summer, which all are part of his top 5.
Williams’ last visit was to UCLA on Sept.17. He chose not to take an official visit to Oregon on last weekend.
My prediction is whoever gets Williams is getting an elite wideout that is athletic enough to make moves in the open field. He will have to add on some more weight, but has potiental to be an elite wideout at the next level.
I feel the Tide does not have a high chance of landing Williams and his decision will come down to Ohio State and UCLA. However, the Tide does have a horse in this race and it will not be a huge surprise for Williams’ to choose the Tide with the success the Tide has had in the passing game, which only looks to be on the way up with two 4-star 2019 quarterbacks coming in next season.
John Metchie is currently the only 2019 wide receiver committed to Alabama and the Tide could add another wideout. Everyone will see what decision Williams’ makes on tommorow. Touchdown Alabama Magazine will keep you updated on his decision.
