The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got unexpected but good news, when tight end O.J. Howard returned to practice on Wednesday. He was a limited participant and wore a knee brace, according to reports.
Howard was injured in week 4 during a 45-10 blowout at Chicago and was expected to miss 2-4 weeks. However, it appears that doctors could clear him for week 6 against Atlanta.
It helped that Tampa had a bye in week 5, which aided Howard’s speedy recovery. For the season, the former Alabama standout has 11 receptions for 222 yards and a touchdown.
