UPDATED: Even with Alabama having a huge recruiting moment on Saturday in getting five-star safety Daxton Hill and four-star cornerback Jeffery Carter for its 2019 class, the sting of seeing Tua Tagovailoa snubbed in the Heisman presentation still hurts. Along with current players, former Crimson Tide standouts have voiced frustration.
Disappointing that @HeismanTrophy voters recognize and reward gross stats against extremely weak competition more than extraordinary & consistent efficiency in the toughest conference. Or maybe it’s just #Bamafatigue . Maybe they’ll recognize when it’s Bama by 50 in a few weeks.

Fans, get ready for a big College Football Playoff semifinal.
After watching Kyler Murray of Oklahoma win the Heisman Memorial Trophy over Tua Tagovailoa, multiple players on Alabama’s defense were not happy.

Linebacker Mack Wilson and defensive end Isaiah Buggs were the first two on social media, displaying their thoughts on who should have won. Alabama faces the Sooners at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Fla., on Saturday, Dec. 29 in the Orange Bowl.

For a defense that finished the regular season as one of the nation’s best, it has even more motivation in pushing for a national championship.
As for Tagovailoa, his attention turns to out playing Murray in the CFP.
