Pugh is a product of Northridge high School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama,. The Tide offered him a preferred walk-on offer in December.
The Tuscaloosa native has worked to perfect his game by attending many specialized camps designed for long snappers. He also has put in significant work outside of those camps.
“Between camps, it was just a lot of hard work,” Pugh Said. ” I was snapping in the park in my neighborhood to my dad and eventually to a metal target because my dad’s hands started hurting.”
Alabama’s kicker enrollee, Will Reichard, has worked with Pugh in the past. Both of them represented Alabama in the 2018 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game.
