After showing appreciation to Julio Jones, Eddie Jackson and Levi Wallace during the 2018 regular season, a former Crimson Tide defensive lineman is now getting some love.
A’Shawn Robinson was listed as one of the top five interior linemen in the NFC North, per a graphic from the site.
He was given a grade of 89.9, which placed him behind Kenny Clark of the Packers (90.5), Akien Hicks of the Bears (91.7) and his teammate with the Detriot Lions, Damon Harrison (91.9).
Despite the Lions finishing at 6-10, Robinson totaled 49 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

He stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 322 pounds; however, it does not stop the former consensus All-American (2015) from elevating to knock passes down.
The native Texan has 13 career pass breakups in the National Football League and one interception. He has tallied 132 tackles – including 3.5 sacks through 45 games.

Prior to the NFL, Robinson was a College Football Playoff champion at Alabama in 2015 and a two-time Southeastern Conference champion in 2014 and 2015.
The former five-star was selected No. 46 overall in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Lions.
With the duo of he and Da’Shawn Hand, Detriot’s defense has all the potential of really taking off next season.
