The wide receiver position is and remains a priority for Alabama football’s 2020 recruiting class and they have cleaned up so far with four wide receiver commits.
The Tide could possibly lose three major parts of their offense at the conclusion of next season. Jerry Jeudy, DeVonta Smith and Henry Ruggs all possessed the skillset to leave Tuscaloosa and declare for the NFL Draft at the conclusion of next season. After landing one wide receiver in their 2019 recruiting class, Alabama knew they had to reload on wideouts in the 2020 cycle and they have put in work early.

Fortunately for the Tide, the 2020 class is filled with great options at wideout and they were able to get verbal commitments from four of them. Dazalin Worsham, Javon Baker, Traeshon Holden and Thaiu Jones-Bell are the Tide’s 2020 commits. All four are ranked as 4-Stars in Touchdown Alabama’s 2020 recruiting rankings. Here is a breakdown of all four:
Worsham’s routes are crisp and tight. His game is similar to Tide wide receivers, Smith and Jeudy,. He can make plays with the ball in his hand and already has chemistry with Alabama quarterback, Paul Tyson, from the time they spent together at Hewitt-Trussville High School. The 4-Star recruit had 87 catches for 1,022 yards and 13 touchdowns during his junior season.
Other Teams Considering: Georgia
Baker has caught the eyes of many at recent camps. He knows how to make tough catches look easy with the dog mentality he possesses. The Georgia product could be the toughest wideout among this group. He thrives in one on one situations, where the best man wins.
Other Teams Considering: Georgia Tech

Holden is a deep threat, who thrives at catching the deep ball. The St. Frances Academy product possesses a slim and lengthy frame. He has a nice vertical, which allows him to high point the football on the long ball. His long stride allows him to cover ground quickly.
Other Teams Considering: USC, Oregon
Jones-Bell has a thick frame at 5-11 and 187 pounds. He is quick with the ball in his hands and knows how to dance in the open field. Bell draws some comparisons to former Alabama and current Atlanta Falcons’ wide receiver, Calvin Ridley. The Florida product runs very tough and knows how to make defenders bounce off him when he has the ball.
Other Teams Considering: Tennessee
The Tide is not done with wide receivers in the 2020 class. Alabama is still recruiting 4-Star wide receiver and Phenix City product, Eddie Williams, heavily.
