Both of Alabama’s 2021 commits, Latrell Mccutchin and Drake Maye, made the ESPN Junior 300.
Maye was ranked as the No. 43 overall player and McCutchin came in at No. 79.
Alabama got a verbal commitment from Maye on July 17. ESPN ranked Maye as the 2021 No. 7 pocket passing quarterback and the No. 3 player in North Carolina. The 6-4 200 pounder, threw for 3,200 yards and 35 touchdowns during his sophomore season.

McCutchin committed to the Tide on June June 27. The Texas product is ranked as the 2021 No. 5 cornerback and the No. 14 player in the state of Texas by ESPN.
Some of Alabama’s major 2021 targets also made the ESPN junior 300. Some notable names are Tommy Brockermyer, Tunmise Adeleye, Tony Grimes, James Williams, Payton Page, Shadrach Banks and Dylan Brooks, who all are listed in the top 15.
