After being one of Alabama’s guest speakers earlier this week, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith left the crimson tide with some words of wisdom. The First Take commentator spoke to the team about life after football, enjoying the moment and even a little bit about Carmelo Anthony on Bama Cuts.
But today ESPN has released the full speech from Smith which can be viewed below.
Whatever your opinion may be about Smith there is definitely a lot of valuable lessons within his speech. It is also refreshing to see somebody not sugarcoat things and to tell people how real life and life in the NFL really is.
