The University of Alabama football program is No. 2 behind Clemson in all polls, but it comes off a strong win over Duke. Along with its coaching staff and the Southeastern Conference releasing its Players of the Week on Monday, Pro Football Focus unveiled its list as well.
Four members of the Crimson Tide were named to PFF’s SEC Team of the Week, with two coming on offense and defense. While receivers Jerry Jeudy and Jaylen Waddle were honorees on offense, Patrick Surtain II and Jared Mayden were named on defense for Alabama.

Jeudy, a junior, had a game-high 137 yards receiving versus the Blue Devils.
He caught 10 passes from Tua Tagovailoa – including one for a 21-yard touchdown in the third quarter to cap off a five-play, 90-yard drive. The native Floridian and former five-star averaged 13.7 yards per reception on 13 targets. Jeudy’s 10 receptions are a career-high for him and the most by a Tide player in a single-game since ArDarius Stewart’s 10-catch performance versus Auburn in 2016.

Waddle, a sophomore, was 10 yards shy of being Alabama’s second 100-yard man.
He collected 90 yards receiving on five catches, with his longest play going 39 yards and he averaged 18 yards per catch. A native of Houston, Texas, Waddle likes what Steve Sarkisian (offensive coordinator) is doing with the offense and he’s expecting to get more touches.
Surtain, a sophomore, assisted a secondary that limited Duke to 97 passing yards.
The 6-foot-2, 203-pound cornerback registered four total tackles (three solo), one pass breakup and one forced fumble. Quentin Harris, quarterback of the Blue Devils, completed 12 of 22 passes and was intercepted twice.
Mayden, a senior, kept Duke’s receivers in check.
He did not record a single stat, but it was due to Harris not trying him. No one got behind Mayden in the secondary, as he kept plays in front and helped an Alabama defense render the Blue Devils to just 204 yards offensively.
