Alabama wide receiver, Henry Ruggs III is having an incredible season thus far, but he still desires for the Crimson Tide to run the football. In Monday’s availability for players, he viewed last week as the ‘worst one’ in terms of blocking for running backs. Ruggs finished the matchup against Southern Mississippi with a career-high 148 yards receiving and two touchdown catches.
His 21 career scores places him second behind Jerry Jeudy (22) and he is 10 shy of tying former Alabama wide out, Amari Cooper (31) for most all-time. A native of Montgomery, Ala., Ruggs also mentioned how the game is starting to slow down for freshman linebacker, Christian Harris.

For now, Ruggs’ focus in on the Mississippi Rebels and making this rushing attack elite as the Tide moves forward.
