Alabama fans are forever grateful to the Tagovailoa family for having two talented sons.
In the midst of Galu and Diane Tagovailoa praying a full recovery for Tua, they experienced joy in watching Taulia Tagovailoa achieve a milestone on last week. The younger brother tossed his first career touchdown pass versus Western Carolina at Bryant-Denny Stadium on senior day.
Despite not having many opportunities, Tagovailoa found junior receiver DeVonta Smith for a 15-yard scoring strike in the third quarter. While his parents celebrated in the stands, Crimson Tide fans believe that it will be the first of many for the four-star out of Ewa Beach, Hawaii.

Much like his brother, Taulia Tagovailoa was highly-touted in the 2019 recruiting cycle from Thompson High School in Alabaster, Ala.
He totaled 3,278 passing yards as a senior for the Warriors with 35 touchdowns and rewrote the Alabama high school record books – becoming the only quarterback to record four 400-yard passing games.
Tagovailoa led Thompson to a Class 7A State Championship in 2018 and chose to sign with Alabama in making his arrival to join his brother.

The 5-foot-11, 208-pounder has the ability to evade pressure, extend plays and perform with great toughness.
He is growing under offensive coordinator, Steve Sarkisian as a passer and seeing how Saban said he won’t be redshirted, Tagovailoa could have a chance to create some impactful plays down the road.
After defeating the Catamounts, the Tide will return to practice on Monday in preparing for the Iron Bowl. Auburn enters the matchup with one of the nation’s best defensive lines and with the venue being Jordan-Hare Stadium, it is another situation where Alabama must handle Auburn if it wants a shot at the College Football Playoff this season.
Tagovailoa’s first touchdown pass was special, but he wants to help the Tide win a national championship.
