Alabama football drop to No. 12 in the College Football Playoff Rankings on Tuesday after they suffered their second loss of the season to the Auburn Tigers.
The Crimson Tide were ranked No. 5 in the previous CFP Rankings. Utah took their spot at No. 5 and the top four remain the same with Ohio State, LSU, Clemson and Georgia. The playoff hopes are all but over for Alabama, but they are possibly still in play to compete in a New Year’s six bowl.
The College Football Playoff and New Year’s Six Bowl participants will be announced Sunday.
