PODCAST: Inside the decision Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa is facing

He has a lot on his plate and he wants to manage it the right way.

For Tua Tagovailoa, the Alabama quarterback has until Jan. 20 of 2020 to make one of the biggest decisions of his life. After a record-setting career with the Crimson Tide, he faces an opportunity to either declare for the NFL Draft or return to school for his senior year.

While there have been reports that speculate a possible return, nothing has been said or done on behalf of Tagovailoa. He has spoken twice on how the decision is a gamble for him, and how he’s taken this time to consult things with his family.

As tempting as it is to become an instant multi-millionaire, the native Hawaiian also knows that this season did not go according to plan for Alabama.

In this edition of In My Own Words, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine takes you inside the challenge that Tagovailoa is facing with making his decision. His choice could potentially sway many of his teammates into either leaving or returning to the Tide.
