Raekwon Davis will play in his final Alabama game on Jan. 1, 2020.
It will be a New Year’s Day matchup in the Citrus Bowl versus Michigan and while he is ready to get after Shea Patterson, he would love to have another year with the Crimson Tide.
A native of Meridian, Miss., Davis earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science on last week.
While he was very proud of his accomplishment and felt as though he made value for himself on the field, the former five-star still knows Alabama did not finish the season well.
A loss to Auburn in the Iron Bowl last month has it playing a regular bowl game, rather than being in the College Football Playoff as one of the top four seeds.

Even though it cane be difficult at times to remain focused, Davis said next year’s team will do a lot of work and he feels like the sky is the limit for them. In following behind others that spoke this week, the idea for Davis is seeing the team finish strong and dominate the Wolverines.
He wants to see the program go into the offseason with confidence and work toward returning to the CFP next year.
Davis and the Tide will have their final practice in Tuscaloosa, Ala., at 1:50 p.m. today.
