After the announcement of Jalen Hurts wearing a half Alabama and Oklahoma helmet, there is now some video of Hurts’ reaction to seeing it for the first time.

The normally stoic Hurts couldn’t help but smile at the sight of the surprise as he will be able to represent both of the schools where he holds a ton of history and memories with.
Hurts spent the first three seasons of his career at the University of Alabama where he made went to the College Football National Championship every single season in the crimson and white. Despite losing his job to Tua Tagovailoa in his junior season, Hurts did not step down from the competition and refused to transfer until seasons end. This led to him leading the team to a come from behind win in the SEC Championship game against Georgia when Tagovailoa left the game with an injury.
Upon transferring to Oklahoma all Hurts did was become the team’s third straight Heisman Trophy finalist and became the first player to lead two different teams to the College Football Playoff.
And on Jan. 25 in Mobile, AL, Hurts will be honoring both teams in the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
