Alabama put their name in the hat for 2021 3-Star wide receiver, Jaden Alexis, on Thursday.

Alexis currently lines up for Monarch High Scool in Coconut Creek, Florida, which means Alabama is after yet another wide receiver from South Florida. Alexis’ offer came from the Tide’s wide receiver coach as he spent some time in the sunshine state last week.
“Coach (Holmon) Wiggins came down to South Florida and spoke with my coach and he informed me after practice,” Alexis said.
The Florida prospect referred to Alabama’s offer as a special honor.
“It is a special honor that not many can say they possess,” Alexis added. “I have been working towards getting the attention of schools like Alabama since I started playing this game 10 years ago. It has always been that little kid’s dream, that is now a reality because of all the hard work.”
During his Junior season, Alexis was named 1st Team All-County after pulling in eight receiving touchdowns and rushing for one score. The 6-1 wideout had a total of 920 receiving yards in 2019.
Alexis is a speedy wideout, who doubles as a track athlete. His speed translates to the gridiron as he can turn short passes into big gains with his ability to eat up yards after the catch. He reportedly runs a 4.5 in the 40-yard dash.
Multiple Power 5 schools have offered Alexis, including SEC programs: Texas A&M, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Ole Miss.
Alabama has not hosted Alexis as of yet, but the rising senior is getting ready for a busy Spring.
“I do not have anything scheduled yet for Spring, but I will when my family and I decide on potential school visits,” Alexis said.
Alexis plans to enroll early into the school of his choice, which means he will make a decision before or in December. The Crimson Tide does have time to build their relationship with him in hopes of possibly adding him to their 2021 class.
