2021 tight end, Elijah Arroyo’s, recruitment has seen a huge boost over the last couple of months and added Alabama to his offer list Thursday.

Arroyo garners a 3-Star rating on most recruiting sites. He now holds a total of 15 Division 1 offers after TCU, Georgia, Purdue and Alabama offered last week. Arroyo said the Tide’s offer had him fired up.
“I was pumped up,” Arroyo said. “It was a great feeling. They have always been one of the best teams in college football, even when I was little.”
At 6-4 and 215 pounds, Arroyo is a big body prospect, who mostly lined up at the wide receiver position for Independence High School during his Junior Season. The Texas product high points the football and is not afraid to catch the ball in traffic.
SEC programs: LSU, Georgia and Texas A&M have also offered Arroyo. Connecticut was the first school to offer him in November.
Arroyo also said he is also impressed with Alabama’s air-raid offense.
“They definitely know how to get their wideouts and tight ends the ball,” Arroyo said. “They have a good offense all around.”
There is currently no date set for Arroyo to visit Alabama, but he “definitely” wants to get there soon.
Alabama signed one tight end in the 2020 recruiting class and acquired senior tight end, Carl Tucker, via the transfer portal. The Tide will look to add a couple of tight ends in their 2021 recruiting class and Arroyo is the perfect fit for what they are looking for in terms of an athletic tight end, who can become a major threat in the passing game.
