Jalen Hurts to host first-ever football camp in Alabama

Jalen Hurts celebrating

He is from Texas and he played his final year of collegiate football at Oklahoma, but Alabama will always be special to Jalen Hurts. After arriving to the Crimson Tide in 2016, he helped the program to a Southeastern Conference Championship and was recognized as both Freshman of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year for the conference.

Hurts was on a College Football Playoff National Championship team in 2017, and he came off the bench in the 2018 SEC Championship to lead the Tide to a 35-28 comeback victory over Georgia.

He did things the right way during his time in Tuscaloosa (Ala.) and on March 22, Hurts will return to the Yellowhammer state to host his first-ever football camp. The event will be at the Hoover Met Complex from 1-4:30 p.m. and the camp is for all positions ages 6-16.

The camp is focused on leadership and role modeling.

Each participant will have an opportunity to receive one-on-one coaching from Hurts and get an individual picture with him.

For those interesting in registering for the camp, you can go to www.jalenhurtscamp.com for more information.
