Tua Tagovailoa to have an autograph signing for Alabama fans this week

Cedric Mason - Touchdown Alabama Magazinec

Before he goes to the NFL Combine at Indianapolis (Ind.), Tua Tagovailoa is scheduled to sign autographs for Alabama fans on Saturday in Huntsville, Ala.

The former Crimson Tide quarterback will be at the Parkway Place Mall at 1:00 p.m. greeting fans via Fanatics Authentic. In his three seasons at Alabama, Tagovailoa brought joy to supporters of the program – including a national championship in 2017 as a freshman.

He led the Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship in 2018 and finished the season with consensus All-American honors.

Tagovailoa was the runner-up for the Heisman Memorial Trophy and joined former standouts AJ McCarron, Jacob Coker and Blake Sims as the fourth signal caller of the Nick Saban era to post at least 3,000 passing yards.

The native Hawaiian is the school’s all-time career leader in touchdown passes (87) and total touchdowns (96).

Tagovailoa projects as a top-five pick for this year’s NFL Draft, especially with good news coming about his right hip.

The fracture he sustained to the posterior wall has healed and he’s gained range of motion in it.

He’s exciting about putting smiles on the faces of fans this weekend.
