Former Alabama QB, Tua Tagovailoa to hold first youth football camp in April

Brian Spurlock - USA TODAY Sports

April will be a very eventful month.

With Alabama football having its annual A-Day Game on Saturday, April 18, fans of the Crimson Tide will be supporting its team at Bryant-Denny Stadium. While the game is set for 1:00 p.m. CT, Tua Tagovailoa will be at Tuscaloosa County High School holding his first youth football camp.

The camp will be from 9:00 a.m. to noon and it is open to boys and girls from grades one through eight.

Throughout the camp, participants will interact with the former national championship quarterback and coaches in doing high-energy drills at various stations.

He is now pursuing the National Football League, but Tagovailoa led Alabama to a national championship in 2017 and a Southeastern Conference title in 2018. Despite battling injuries, his career ended with him ranking first all-time for touchdown passes (87) and total scores (96) in school history. He projects as a top-five to top-10 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
