Alabama in Top 7 for 2021 4-Star LB, Aaron Willis

2021 4-Star linebacker, Aaron Willis, released his top seven schools Saturday and included Alabama.

LSU, Michigan, Texas, Maryland, Arizona State and Tennessee were also included in Willis’ top seven. Willis is a product of St Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. The Tide was also included in a top-five Willis released in September.

Willis’ most recently top schools list has a different look to it. Clemson and Georgia were included in his top five in September. Tennessee, Texas, Michigan and Arizona State were not included in that list.

Maryland, LSU and the Tide are the only three schools, that were included in both list.

St. Frances Academy has been good to Alabama over the last three recruiting cycles. At least one St. Frances Academy product has signed with the Tide in each of the last three seasons. One of those prospects was Alabama’s starting linebacker in 2019, Shane Lee.

Darrian Dalcourt, Traeshon Holden, Chris Braswell and Eyabi Anoma, who is no longer at Alabama, played for St. Frances Academy at some point in time during their high school career.

Willis is a unique prospect in his own right. At 6-0 and 200 pounds, Willis floats to the football with great speed. He has good form on his tackles and attacks plays away from him.

The Tide’s only 2021 commit is a 4-star linebacker in Deontae Lawson. The Tide looks to still be in the running for Willis along with several other 2021 linebackers. Two inside linebackers sign with the Tide in the 2020 recruiting class, along with four outside linebackers.
