The Miami Dolphins have a decision to make.
After missing out on the quarterback it wanted in Drew Brees, the franchise has a chance at redemption on Thursday night in round one of the NFL Draft. While the focus was on Tua Tagovailoa of Alabama at first, things have shifted to either Justin Herbert of Oregon or taking an offensive lineman with its first choice.
Miami has three first-round picks – Nos. 5, 18 and 26 – and it is trying to climb out of mediocrity. Despite those who remain unsure about Tagovailoa’s right hip among other surgeries, a report from the Miami Herald provided good news.
The former Crimson Tide quarterback passed his physical for the Dolphins.
Regardless of him not being able to meet at the team’s facility, due to the coronavirus, Miami thoroughly examined the 2018 Heisman finalist at Indianapolis for the NFL Scouting Combine.
With this information on Wednesday, is Tagovailoa back in the conversation to be taken at No. 5 to the Dolphins?

It looks that way from the report.
Since not getting Brees in the 2006 free agency period, Miami has been through 14 signal callers and it’s had over 20 since Dan Marino retired in 2000. The Dolphins need someone who can lead it to a Super Bowl and Tagovailoa has all the tools.
