The hot topic kicked off on Friday and it will probably continue into the summer.
Even though most people saw it coming, Taulia Tagovailoa had some Alabama fans hitting double takes as he entered his name into the NCAA transfer. He completed nine of 12 passes last season as a freshman for 100 yards with one touchdown.

An injury to his brother, Tua Tagovailoa, kept him from redshirting. He came to the Crimson Tide as a four-star in 2019.
With him taking his talents elsewhere, people are now zeroed in on Bryce Young emerging and taking the starting job from Mac Jones. The five-star from California offers a lot in the passing and rushing attack, but is Young the immediate answer after losing Tua to the NFL Draft?
Yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine dissected Young’s skill set via In My Own Words and talked about the element of surprise that he brings. It will not be easy to supplant Jones; however, Young represents the type of player that fans want to see operate the offense.
Former Alabama defensive lineman, Rudy Griffin was also featured and he spoke on the Tide having a “next man up” mentality.
While it is tough in losing Tagovailoa, Griffin knows Alabama will have Young and Paul Tyson prepared at the position behind Jones.
The season cannot get here fast enough.
