Even the lovable Big AL is not immune to being reprimanded by Nick Saban.
In a public service announcement video from Alabama football’s Twitter account, Saban warns the Crimson Tide’s mascot about not wearing a mask at the player’s facility. During this time of the coronavirus, people are advised to be six feet apart from each other. The warning from Alabama’s head coach shocked him, but Jeff Allen brought a smile back to Big AL’s face.

The dedicated athletic trainer and the mascot went to get a mask for Big AL.
Within the PSA commercial, Saban talked about the importance of staying at home for those who are showing any signs or symptoms of the virus.
He stated that hand-washing is critical and for people to continue practicing social distancing, if they want to see football this season.

As for Big AL, he ends up getting his mask in the end. Alabama is excited about having the players back on campus on June 1 for voluntary activities, but being safe is still important.
