4-Star OL, Jaeden Roberts, to commit this week

4-Stra ol jaeden roberst poses for a pictre duing a visit to Alabama

Alabama’s 2021 4-Star offensive lineman target, Jaeden Roberts, has set a commitment date for Wednesday.

Roberts last visited Alabama for its Junior Day Event in February. The North Shore High School (TX) product is considering Alabama along with several SEC and Big 12 schools. After Roberts’ last visit to Tuscaloosa, he told Touchdown Alabama his conversation with Nick Saban was one of the highlights of his visit.

“The visit was good,” Roberts said. “My talk with (Nick) Saban was a well-spoken conversation about what it would look like to be at Alabama and how they take care of their players.”

Alabama is expected to sign four to five offensive linemen in its 2021 recruiting class based on the number of o-linemen the Tide will most likely lose at the end of next season. They have yet to land an offensive lineman commit in the 2021 recruiting cycle. Roberts said Alabama is among his top choices.

“I say they are probably one of my top 5 for sure and are one of my strong choices to go to college,” Roberts said.

At 6-6 and 335 pounds, Robert currently has great size for a D1 offensive lineman.

Alabama signed Roberts’ teammate and 4-Star offensive lineman, Dameion George, in its 2020 recruiting class. The Tide continues to look like a strong contender in Roberts’ recruitment.
