Alabama now has six commits in its 2021 recruiting class with its latest pledge coming from 4-Star linebacker, Ian Jackson, Thursday.
Jackson is Alabama’s third in-state commit in the 2021 recruiting class and is the Tide’s fourth defensive pledge. The Prattville product chose Alabama over LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Oregon and Oklahoma. The 4-Star recruit brings a lot of potential on the football field, but his attitude off the field is what makes him a special young man, according to Prattville’s head coach.
“Ian Jackson is a great young man,” Caleb Ross said. “He is one of the best kids I have ever coached. He comes from a great family and really is a joy to be around. He is a kid you never have to worry about getting in trouble and that is why he is one of our captains. He just knows how to talk to people and has a family, who knows the power of community.”
