Not a lot of people live and breathe football the way Jerry Jeudy does.
Not only was he an incredible high school player in Florida, but his juke moves and hands developed him into becoming an unstoppable five-star at the University of Alabama.
Jeudy recorded two 1,000-yard seasons in three years and totaled 26 touchdown receptions, which is second all-time for a career behind Amari Cooper (31). After being on a College Football Playoff National Championship team in 2017 and a Southeastern Conference title program in 2018, Jeudy entered this year’s NFL Draft as the No. 1 player at his position.
He was selected No. 15 overall by the Denver Broncos and while he’s adjusting to Colorado’s altitude, Jeudy is not fond of the rating he received for Madden 21. Despite media pundits regarding him as the “most complete” receiver in the draft, Electronic Arts gave him an overall mark of 75 – tying him for second-highest with former Oklahoma standout, Ceedee Lamb.
Upon hearing his rating from former NFL receiver Chad Johnson, Jeudy walked off.

“Overall, you are a 75, which is fair,” Johnson said to Jeudy. “An overall of 75 is perfect for a rookie coming in, until he’s proven himself. All the other accolades are based on what you’ve done in the past in college. Listen, when you make that transition, it’s going to change anyway.”
Even with wisdom coming from a veteran, the way Jeudy walked out of the room shows his competitive nature.
He desires to be the top man at everything, and that also includes the ratings on Madden.
At the end of the day, he is in the perfect situation as the Broncos have a roster poised to make a playoff run this season. With Drew Lock at quarterback, he has Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, Noah Fant and K.J. Hamler among others to target on the outside.

Jeudy has the potential to maybe even be Rookie of the Year.
