Nick Saban has put every non-specialized position into the first round of the NFL Draft.
Among the positional units he is really good at, Saban tends to have a way with producing running backs. He had the star-studded talents such as Glenn Coffee, Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, Eddie Lacy, T.J. Yeldon and Derrick Henry, while also having playmakers like Damien Harris and Bo Scarbrough. Even backups such as Kenyan Drake and Josh Jacobs collected major success, as both were drafted and have become stellar in the pros.
Najee Harris is carrying the attention for this year’s rotation of backs; however, one ESPN analyst sees Brian Robinson Jr. as someone with ‘NFL starter potential.’
Jim Nagy, executive director for the Senior Bowl, shared a post to Twitter on the Tuscaloosa native.
Before Najee Harris broke out the second half of ‘19 many NFL scouts felt Brian Robinson Jr. was the best RB prospect at @AlabamaFTBL. Powerful, hard-running Robinson is next in line of Bama backups with NFL starter talent (Josh Jacobs & Kenyon Drake). ?#TheDraftStartsInMOBILE pic.twitter.com/UdtILmMBcE

He had a good season in 2019, but expect for Robinson to get his speed up.
The 6-foot-1, 226-pounder wants an opportunity to get drafted just like Harris.
