Alabama football let itself be heard on the latest edition of the NFL Top 100 players list this past weekend as Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs heard his name called as the 72nd best player in the league.
Jacobs, who accomplished this feat as a rookie, was one of the leagues top backs in 2019 as he was able to make a big difference in Jon Gruden’s offense.
In his first campaign Jacobs appeared in 13 games and rushed for 1,150 yards on 242 attempts, with seven touchdowns, an average of 4.8 yards per attempt and also caught 20 passes for 166 yards.
These efforts not only helped Jacobs be named to the NFL Top 100 list but, Jacobs was also given the honor of making the NFL’s All Rookie Team.
So far two Alabama players have made the rankings with former defensive back Marlon Humphrey coming in at the No. 86 spot.
