He missed the first scrimmage, but Bryce Young has another opportunity to grab Nick Saban’s attention.
Alabama football will be at Bryant-Denny Stadium today for its second exhibition and for the five-star true freshman, he looks to show the team that he’s the best option to start at quarterback.
Young, a native of Pasadena, Calif., came from a major program at Mater Dei High School.
He excelled at the Elite 11 and was the Most Valuable Offensive Player at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Young guided the Monarchs to a state championship as a junior and ended his career with 13,250 passing yards and 178 total scores.
After seeing the success Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa had a freshmen, Young looks to throw a wrench into the plan of Mac Jones being the starter for the Crimson Tide. He has to make big plays in the scrimmage and if he does, it will be interesting.
On Friday, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine discussed Young via In My Own Words and what he needs to do in Alabama’s final exhibition of fall camp.
