Alabama lands 11 players on SEC Coaches Preseason All-SEC teams

On Thursday the Southeastern conference revealed its lists of the coaches preseason All-SEC teams for the 2020 season. In the 18th year of the conference’s list, Alabama was able to place a league-leading 11 players amongst the three teams voted on.

Georgia came in second with 10 representatives on the teams and Florida, LSU and Texas A&M were all tied with eight players.

The Crimson Tide also lead the way with eight players making the All-SEC First-Team which included Najee Harris (running back), DeVonta Smith (wide receiver), Jaylen Waddle (wide receiver), Alex Leatherwood (offensive line), Landon Dickerson (offensive line), Dylan Moses (linebacker), LaBryan Ray (defensive line) and Patrick Surtain II (defensive back).

Waddle picked up two additional first team sports for special teams and being an all-purpose specialist.

Offensive linemen Deonte Brown and Landon Dickerson also gained second-team honors. Dickerson was listed at center on the second-team as opposed to guard.

Making the third team were defensive back Josh Jobe and offensive lineman Evan Neal.
