2022 5-Star wide receiver, Caleb Burton made the first step in working through his recruitment Tuesday by releasing his first top schools’ list.

Burton released his top 12 Tuesday and included Alabama. Auburn, Georgia, LSU and Florida were the other SEC teams included in the Texas products’ first top schools list. Texas was the lone home state program included.

The 5-Star recruit told Touchdown Alabama he loves Alabama’s coaching staff in July.

“It is hard not to be impressed by them,” Burton added. “I love the staff and talking to them, especially. They are always happy to talk to me and I enjoy talking to the coaches. It is all love.”

Burton went on to express how much he loved the way the Crimson Tide uses their wide receivers.

“I love their offense and how they use their wide receivers,” Burton said. “I love the concepts they run and how much they get their wide receivers involved in the game. It is definitely something I keep my eye on when it comes to all schools.”

With outstanding route running skills, Burton is one of the top wide receivers in the 2022 recruiting class. His ability to create separation while running tight and crisp routes would allow him to fit right into Alabama’s offense. He currently stands at 6-0 and weighs approximately 170 pounds.

Burton will continue to be one of the most sought after wide receivers in the 2022 recruiting class.
