On Sunday it was announced by ESPN that College GameDay would be heading to Tuscaloosa next Saturday for Alabama’s game against Georgia.

The game which has massive SEC and College Football Playoff hopes on the line, has been circled on fan’s calendars for months and will be getting the primetime treatment it deserves.

The last time College GameDay came to the University of Alabama was last season when the Crimson Tide hosted the LSU Tigers on Nov. 9.

ESPN’s pregame show has traveled to Alabama a total of 47 times, which is more than any other school. The Crimson Tide are also 30-17 when gameday is conducted on-site.

It will be Georgia’s second time this season where College Gameday has been in attendance for on of its games. Earlier in the season, the show traveled to Athens, Ga., where the Bulldogs defeated the Auburn Tigers 27-6.

Next Saturday’s game between Alabama and Georgia will be broadcast by CBS with the kick-off slated for 7 p.m. CT.
